The leading aviation event, the “5th Athens Flying Week’’, is coming closer. The greatest international air show in South-Eastern Europe is scheduled for September and is more dynamic than ever before!

The “Athens Flying Week International Air Show’’ has GROWN and is now taking off from the 114 Combat Wing in TANAGRA.

This aerodrome has ample space and spectators will finally be able to get up close to their favourite jets as they take off and land. They will be able to admire all the aircraft in the largest static display in recent years; be photographed next to them together with their pilots; and enjoy unique moments and experiences with world renowned aerobatic champions, as well as fighter jet display pilots, in stunning unique air show choreographies!!!

The air show programme will be studded with foreign and Greek model aircraft makers and will include a multi-sectoral trade fair, many restaurants, spacious bars, original happenings and, as always, a play area for the little ones!

In addition, information will be available on site about all types of aviation training by aero clubs, the Hellenic Aeronautical and Air Sports Federation (ELAO) and other pilot training facilities.

In this year’s edition, for the first time, the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI) shall host an open day exclusively for the friends of the Athens Flying Week and allow us to enter and receive a guided tour in a world so far unknown to us. At the same time it will create its own dedicated exhibition to complement the AFW static display at the airport.
